This award is presented to an Elementary School Concert Band (Grades 5-8) which achieves the highest mark during the week of the Festival. The winner will receive a $100.00 cash award.

this award is presented by the Rotary Club of Belleville, in memory of one of the founders of the Music Festival, and long-time Rotarian, Ken Wormald. The award is for the Secondary Concert Band (Grade 9-12) which achieves the highest standing during the week of the Festival. The winner will receive a cash award of $200.00
This award is to be presented to the school band that, in the opinion of the Adjudicator, gave an outstanding performance in the Jazz competition. The winner will receive a cash award of $250.00

Stan Wiggins was an accomplished trumpet player and long-time leader of the Commodores Orchestra. This award is provided by his family, to honor and recognize his passionate interest in music during his lifetime. The award is to be presented to the Jazz ensemble that, in the opinion of the Adjudicator, gave an outstanding performance in the Jazz competition. The winner will receive a cash award of $100.00

WOODWINDS, BRASS, PERCUSSION AND STRINGS – an award of $1000 will be given to the instrumental student, in Senior, Advanced, or Associate levels (Level 9 and higher,
up to 28 years of age), who has entered at least three competitive classes and has the highest average marks in the Festival over the week. The adjudicator's decision is final. Students may win this award two years in a row, but will not be eligible to win it in the third consecutive year.
